Hey, I am so glad you’re here!

I am Chelle. I am a self-taught illustrator and digital designer from Kent, UK. A lot of my inspirations come from my love of all things Japan and mindfulness. Monsterful Illustrations is my second baby and was created during lockdown one to channel the boredom.

I am also a wife and a mummy. My family is my everything, my world. I am doing all this for them. I want my daughter to grow up knowing that hard work can and will pay-off. After quitting teaching last year, I became a full time digital designer and I am loving it. I have learnt so many new things this year. I really love learning and before becoming a mum, you would often find me reading historical novels and watching documentaries.

I love to create things that fill people with happiness and hopefulness. Bright colours, positive quotes and the odd kawaii character are my go to designs. Sharing in the joy of colour and design to help people believe in themselves, to challenge any toxicity and negativity in their lives and to find a spark in the mundane.
